Bridget and I did a late Sunday evening climb beginning at 4pm from Constantia Nek, over Vlakkenberg, down to the seat and afterward on the Bokkemanskloof way to the highest point of Blue Valley Ave in Hout Narrows, and back to the vehicle on Hout Sound pipetrack rock street.
We left the vehicle at the Nek, strolled down the principal street for 200 m and went across the way to where the path begins, and headed up through the entrance way. After we arrived at the highest point of the log ventures between the grape plantations on the left and the Silvermist property on the right, and traveled south west on a somewhat less steep climb, we partook in this view thinking back towards Constantia corner and Orange Kloof. We had a decent locating of a dark kite roosting on the actual top of a pine tree, endeavoring to adjust against the development from the solid south-easter blowing.
From here on the path goes through wonderful fynbos and the blossoms are eminent during this season. We crossed Vlakkenberg and made a beeline for the seat on the Hoerikwaggo trail, through thick blooming leucaspermum conocarpodendrun trees, looking across towards the Constantiaberg.
The rest of the declining went on the right hand side of the stream and native woodland. Further down a considerable amount of dark wattle was near, with thick stands of slim trees high up on the contrary slants.
We boiled down to the local location and strolled down Blue Valley to Fynbos road which took us to the rock street of the Hout Narrows pipetrack and somewhat of a trudge in the blurring sunlight back to the vehicle at the Nek.
